Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1-3 years of OT experience and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Details

  • Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
  • General patient population including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and debility diagnoses
  • Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Weekend coverage required once a month
  • EPIC and Rehab Connect EHR systems used

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • 1-3 years of experience as an OT required
  • OT experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab hospital preferred
  • AHA certifications required
  • License required if applicable
  • Basic computer knowledge and effective English communication skills (verbal and written) required

Additional Information

  • Provide individualized rehabilitation care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
  • Must be cooperative and demonstrate strong team player attributes
  • Black scrubs required
  • Report time between 7:30-8:00 AM
  • Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
  • Candidates cannot have worked as perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
