Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient position located in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves evaluating and re-evaluating patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, developing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by physicians, and managing a caseload independently. The position requires a Hawaii State license and offers a Monday through Friday schedule.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Schedule: Day shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Hawaii license; minimum 2 years' work experience working with adults in outpatient and acute inpatient settings; certifications including BLS from American Red Cross; candidate must have Hawaii license by start date; position open to candidates with 0 or more years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation and acute rehab setting is preferred
- Additional Information: Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday; application of procedures, use of EMR systems (Net Health Therapy and Meditech); coverage includes holidays based on hospital needs
