Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Alliance, NE 69301

Start Date: October 13, 2026

Location: Alliance, Nebraska

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with one-hour lunch break; one weekend day per month. 40 guaranteed hours per week. This is a 13-week travel assignment.

Highlights:

  • Provide client-centered, evidence-based occupational therapy services in a rural healthcare setting
  • Treat diverse patient populations across all age groups with focus on restoring functional abilities and minimizing disability
  • Opportunity to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT students
  • Participate in community outreach, program development, and departmental quality assurance initiatives
  • Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment working alongside physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and physicians
  • Paid orientation provided (12 hours non-billable)

Requirements:

  • Active Nebraska Occupational Therapist license
  • Certification to administer Electrotherapeutic Agents, Deep Thermal Agents, and Superficial Thermal Agents
  • Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • 1-2 years of experience in a rural health setting preferred; new graduates will be considered
  • Reliable personal transportation required (rideshare services not available in this area)
  • Competency in treating all age groups and providing services including therapeutic exercise, splinting, modalities, and self-care training
