Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents to improve functional independence in daily living activities
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate resident care and discharge planning
• Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregiving staff as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Alabama
• NBCOT certification required
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care setting
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with MDS documentation and PDPM reimbursement models
• Experience with geriatric populations in a SNF environment
