Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, delivering intensive therapy to stroke, orthopedic, and other patient populations
• Deliver up to 3 hours of intensive therapy per day to inpatient rehab patients in accordance with program requirements
• Evaluate and treat acute care patients admitted to the hospital who require therapy services to safely discharge home or transition to the next level of care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient functional outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Experience in inpatient rehab and/or acute care settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating stroke and orthopedic patient populations
• Familiarity with intensive inpatient rehabilitation program structures and documentation requirements
• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
