Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient position in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing patient functional levels, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, supervising therapy staff and students, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must hold a valid, current State license. BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience with previous inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is highly advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The occupational therapist will evaluate patients based on physician orders, plan and administer appropriate treatments, participate in discharge planning, document all patient interactions, and ensure safety and confidentiality at all times. Responsibilities include supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students, participating in team conferences, and advocating for continuous quality improvement.
