Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) in Ohio This position involves evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. The therapist will develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders, aiming to improve residents independence in activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognition, and upper extremity function. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential to promote safe discharges and maximize each residents functional potential.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Ohio Occupational Therapist license, Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient settings, and Ohio residency or ability to obtain Ohio license.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in skilled nursing facilities, familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration, and proficiency in documentation and treatment planning.
  • Additional Information: The therapist will evaluate and treat both short-term and long-term patients, collaborating closely with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Timely documentation and development of treatment strategies are essential, with a focus on enhancing residents' independence and quality of life.
