Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient (IP) - Zachary, Louisiana. This position involves providing occupational therapy services within the inpatient setting at a medical facility located in Louisiana's Capital Region. Job Details

  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Louisiana Occupational Therapist (OT) license, degree in occupational therapy, willingness to split time between medical surgical (MS) and acute rehabilitation unit (ARU) units, experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, and effective communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), orthopedics, cardiac patients, and personality fit for a team-oriented environment.
  • Additional Information: The position may require working in both medical surgical and acute rehabilitation units; flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs; and compliance with facility dress code including black scrubs, no blue jeans, spandex, open toe shoes or hoodies.
