Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an acute care hospital and inpatient rehab unit in Nashville, TN.

Details

• hab unit and acute care hospital setting with 45 inpatient rehab beds and 240 med surg/progressive care/ICU beds
• Rehab unit patient ratio is 5:1 or 6 hours of treatment per patient
• Acute care caseload of 12-14 patients per day
• Documentation completed in Meditech Expanse
• Schedule consists of 5, 8-hour shifts with 2 weekend shifts per month, with a weekday off to replace each weekend shift worked
• Must be open to floating between acute care and inpatient rehab treatments

Requirements

• Current OTR license required if applicable
• NBCOT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience with evaluations, therapeutic exercise, ADL training, therapeutic activities, and neuromuscular reeducation

• Perform evaluations, therapeutic exercise, ADL training, therapeutic activities, and neuromuscular reeducation therapy
• Caribbean blue scrubs required as part of dress code
