Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Two weekend shifts per month required (with a weekday off in exchange) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for inpatient rehab patients, including neurological and orthopedic populations
• Provide evaluations and treatments in acute care settings including ortho, telemetry, and ICU
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy
• Adhere to start time of no later than 8:00 AM
• Follow all facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific policies, including completing the required Methodist Acknowledgement Form

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license — temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient rehab and/or acute hospital settings
• Willingness and ability to float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Ability to work two weekend shifts per month

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital environments
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• NDT (Neurodevelopmental Treatment) certification or brain injury certification
