Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Occupational Health – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: September 28, 2026 (preferred) or October 5, 2026

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts). This is a 16-week assignment ending January 25, 2027.

Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational health services to support caregiver wellness and workplace safety
  • Conduct pre-employment health screenings, vaccinations, surveillance programs, and exposure management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Infection Prevention, Human Resources, and Workers' Compensation
  • Manage employee health records and ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational health standards
  • Participate in committees and provide clinical expertise on occupational health trends and risk reduction strategies
  • Open to both local and travel nurses with competitive compensation and support

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements including OSHA, CDC, Joint Commission, and local health department standards
  • Strong time management, accuracy, and priority-setting skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Clean background check required; certain background findings may not be accepted
  • Willingness to learn new electronic health record system (non-EPIC platform)
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment period
  • Flexibility to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
