Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Observation Unit. Position Information:

• Facility Department: Observation Unit
• Trauma Level: 2
• Patient Population: Adult only (18+ years)
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5
• Common Diagnoses: Chest pain, asthma exacerbation, TIA, abdominal pain, urinary issues, blood sugar issues, DVT/PE, cellulitis, post-procedural monitoring, minor trauma.

Requirements:

• 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, Tele/ECG Competency
• Optional: TNCC, ENPC

Additional Information:

• Orientation is bi-weekly
• Must work weekends and holidays
• Float requirements to Medical/Cardiac/Neuro-Ortho Units
• Dress Code: Scrub color - galaxy blue
• Equipment: Cardiac monitor; EHR: Cerner
