Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department Observation unit, which specializes in telemetry and medical/surgical care.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Telemetry
• Number of Beds: 8-16
• Patient Load: 8-16 patients per day
• Staff Ratios: 4:1
• Typical Patient Diagnoses: Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Shift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to similar units within the region
• Standby Requirement: Yes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or medical/surgical setting
• Current BLS Certification
• Active WA nursing license

• Orientation: 1-day unit-specific orientation will be provided
• Security: In-house security is available
• EMR System: Epic
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
• Boarding Patients: This unit manages patients awaiting a room in the hospital
