Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Observation unit as the primary assignment
• Float to other Med-Surg units including Respiratory, Stroke, and Cardiac floors as needed
• Float to the Emergency Department when appropriately skilled and knowledgeable
• Accurately read and interpret Telemetry/BCRA rhythm strips; competency will be assessed on day one
• Document and manage patient records using Epic EMR
• Call shifts are a rare occurrence

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio or compact eligibility
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry or Med-Surg nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to read Telemetry/BCRA strips
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required — must be independently proficient prior to start; remedial or 1:1 training is not available

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple Med-Surg specialty units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac)
• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience
• Background as a travel nurse with recent acute care assignments
