Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of labor experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

Details

  • Work in the OB/GYN Combined unit (LDRP/Nursery) of a 355-bed hospital
  • 8-bed unit caring for laboring patients as well as GYN patients
  • Follows AWHONN patient ratio standards
  • Uses Cerner EHR
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating may be required to assist as helping hands

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
  • Associate's degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of labor experience required
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
  • LDRP experience preferred
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide labor and delivery nursing care alongside GYN patient care
  • Navy scrub color required, with C-section scrubs supplied by the hospital
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
  • Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local rate
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
  • Easygoing, committed, and positive personality fit preferred
