Description:
Manager interviews will be conducted.
Unit has 6 suites with an average census of 35-50 patients per day.
The patient population includes adults with diabetes, vascular diseases, reduced blood flow to extremities, pre/post-surgical needs, frostbite, burns, podiatry wounds, and post-amputation care.
Four wound care nurses will provide support in the department along with three medical assistants and one Wound Care MD with four Wound APPs.
Technology used includes EMR: Cerner and Intellacare for wound care specifics.
There is no floating to other units.
Weekend rotation is not required.
On-call responsibilities do not apply.
Holiday expectations are closed.
Requests for time off should be approved by the manager.
Scrub color should be any solid color that is professional, with no graphics, logos, or designs.
