Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No Weekend Requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct wound care nursing services in an outpatient wound healing center averaging approximately 17 patient visits per day
- Assess and manage a variety of wound types including diabetic/circulatory ulcers and pressure ulcers
- Administer and oversee treatments such as advanced wound dressings and medications, skin grafts or substitutes, pressure-relieving devices, and specialized footwear
- Perform Braden Scale and adult pressure-injury risk assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Maintain a patient care ratio of approximately 1:2
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license required upon submittal
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Strong wound assessment and management experience required, including pressure, venous, and peripheral arterial ulcers
- Experience with advanced wound dressings including alginates and autolytic debriding agents required
- Braden Scale and adult pressure-injury risk assessment experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Local candidates are welcome (local rate differential applies)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- WCC (Wound Care Certified) or WOCN (Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse) certification preferred
