Travel Nurse RN - Wound/Ostomy - $1,673 per week in McAllen, TX

Operate and manage wound care equipment including Wound VAC, ABI Dopplers, vascular compression systems, curettes, scalpels, surgical scissors and forceps, and pressure relief systems. Key Responsibilities

• Perform wound debridement and advanced dressing applications across multiple floors within the facility
• Operate and manage wound care equipment including Wound VAC, ABI Dopplers, vascular compression systems, curettes, scalpels, surgical scissors and forceps, and pressure relief systems
• Apply hydrogels, hydrocolloids, antimicrobial and biological barrier products as appropriate to patient care needs
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across various units
• Float to all units within the hospital as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Wound Care Certification required - candidates without this certification will not be considered
• Minimum 1 year of experience in wound/ostomy care
• Ability to work weekends and on-call shifts as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience with vascular assessment tools such as ABI Dopplers
