    Job Requirements
    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an associate degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution

    Certifications Requirements:

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of Women's Health or Labor & Delivery nursing experience
    • Prior travel nursing experience preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of postpartum care

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to work night shifts from 7:45 PM to 7:15 AM
    • Strong fetal monitoring skills and experience with cervical exams, amnio infusions, epidurals, and baby catching
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to handle high-stress situations in a trauma level IV facility

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive postpartum care for mother and baby, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assessing recovery progress.
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure smooth labor and delivery processes, including fetal monitoring, cervical exams, and epidural management.
    • Document patient care accurately and promptly within the EPIC EMR system.
    • Educate patients on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care to promote health and safety post-discharge.
    • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and shift responsibilities during night shifts from 7:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
