What You’ll Do:
- Provide routine and complex nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately.
- Educate patients and families about their health conditions and treatments, addressing their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Collaborate with care team members and delegate tasks as appropriate to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and hospital protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Urology nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact state.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- EPIC experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong assessment skills and ability to manage complex patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required.
- At least 1 year of specialized Urology nursing experience.
Other Requirements:
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Ability to start ASAP.
- Must be comfortable working in a clinical setting with adult patients.
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties as required.
