Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Urgent Care) – Alaska

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Juneau, Alaska

Schedule: Full-time urgent care clinic hours; responsibilities include clinic opening and closing procedures

Highlights:

• Urgent Care Department position within an ambulatory care setting
• Provide clinical leadership and direction to clinic staff ensuring efficient operations
• Collaborate with providers and clinical team to deliver excellent quality patient care
• Manage medication inventory, supplies, and Point of Care quality control checks

• Contract assignment requiring advance planning for fingerprinting and background clearance (start date begins 5+ weeks after fingerprint processing)

Requirements:

• Active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska (must be active at time of application)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care or emergency department experience within the last 4 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Candidate responsible for securing own housing and transportation
