Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma and Life Support ICU – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts between 1900-0730 with weekend and holiday rotation. Patient ratio 2:1 across all shifts.

  • Care for diverse patient diagnoses including ARDS, ECMO, post-code care, sepsis, GI bleeds, post-op management, liver transplant, vascular surgery, and trauma

Requirements:

  • Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required (Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and Trauma ICU experience required)
  • At least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
  • Must pass telemetry exam prior to start with strict passing criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% overall passing score
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
  • Floating to other units as needed
