Schedule: 12-hour shifts with modified self-scheduling, six weekend shifts per six-week schedule period, 1:2 patient ratio Highlights: - 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU in a Magnet-designated, ACS Verified Level I Trauma Center- Advanced critical care equipment including EVDs, Camino bolts, wound vacs, GE ventilators, iCool machines, and Prisma Max CRRT- Comprehensive procedures performed on unit: intubations, extubations, chest tubes, central lines, CRRT/HD, proning, TPA administration, bronchoscopy, and more- Cerner PowerChart documentation system with robust ICU support staff including dedicated PCT and unit secretary coverage- Collaborative team environment with 1 supervisor, strong RN-to-patient staffing, and emphasis on flexibility- Modified self-scheduling with opportunity to float to other ICU environments (MICU, NSICU, CVICU, CICU) or Step Down Requirements: - Active and valid RN license- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required- Acute Care ICU experience (LTAC experience not applicable)- Trauma ICU experience from Level I or Level II Trauma Center strongly preferred- Surgical ICU background required- Kind, compassionate, team-player mentality with positive attitude and flexibility Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to work in a premier trauma environment with access to cutting-edge critical care technology and a strong culture of teamwork.
