Unit Information:
Number of Beds - 30
Number of Staff - 85
Day Shift includes 1 Charge Nurse and varying number of RNs and Patient Care Technicians based on Census.
Night Shift includes 1 Charge Nurse and varying number of RNs and Patient Care Technicians based on Census.
Patient Ratios are 2:1 for ICU and 4:1 for Progressive Care Unit.
Equipment used includes Critical Care Equipment for Burn and Trauma care.
Technology includes Electronic Medical Records.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include wound care, codes, external ventricular drains, and massive transfusion protocols.
Ideal candidates are team-oriented, willing to ask questions, and eager to assist colleagues.
Floating areas may include Medical Surgical ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, Neuro ICU, or any Progressive Care Unit.
Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs.
Weekend and call requirements include working 2 weekends per pay period.
