The day shift includes one CNC/Relief Charge, with the number of RNs varying based on census. Night shift also has one CNC/Relief Charge, with RNs and PCTs varying based on census. Patient ratios are 2:1 for ICU and 4:1 for PCU. The unit is equipped with critical care equipment for Burn and Trauma ICUs. Electronic Medical Record system in use is Meditech. Wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP are typical procedures performed in the unit. Candidates with a BSN and CCRN will be prioritized in the hiring process. The ideal candidate will have a team-based approach, be unafraid to ask questions, and be willing to help others. Floating may occur to other units as necessary. Scrub color for this position is royal blue. Candidates may be required to work two weekends per pay period.
