Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Trauma Registered Nurse (RN) Madison, WI. This position involves working evening/night 12-hour shifts within a fast-paced ICU that provides critical care to surgical, medical, and trauma patients. The nurse will be part of a dedicated team utilizing advanced life support therapies and participating in cutting-edge research to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Location: Madison, WI
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts between 1900 - 0730, with weekend and holiday rotation. Minimum hours per week: 36 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Current WI RN or compact RN license, at least 2 years of ICU experience, Epic patient charting system experience, BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma level I and II cases, telemetry testing passed prior to start, experience with arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal, and other advanced ICU skills.
- Additional Information: This role requires proficiency in managing ventilated patients, central line care, and vasoactive medication titration. Telemetry test must be passed prior to employment, with flexible attempts allowed. Travelers are expected to float as needed.
- Travel Experience: Not required.
