GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Transplant Surgery for a travel nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Surgical Transplant

 

Shift: Night 4x12s (19:00 – 07:00) | 48 Hours/week | Every Other Weekend/Holiday

 

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

 

Key Requirements:

  • License & Certs: Active MA RN License | BLS required (ACLS preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years Med-Surg/Transplant experience required (1:5 ratio experience needed). Prior travel experience preferred. Phone interview required.
  • EMR: Epic experience required.
  • Pass/Fail Exams: Must pass Medication & Telemetry exams during orientation on 1st attempt (study materials provided).

Unit Details & Expectations:

  • Unit: 7 West Surgical Transplant Unit (21 beds).
  • Patient Population: Pre/Post-Op Organ Transplant (Kidney, Liver), trauma overflow, and post-acute surgery patients.
  • Patient Ratio: 1:4 (Nights).
  • Skills Needed: Knowledge of immunosuppressive agents, graft function monitoring, recognition of organ rejection/complications, and arrhythmia interpretation.
