Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
- AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
Must-Have:
- NxStage Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) experience.
- Trauma 1 experience.
Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
The Staff RN job incorporates essential functions adapted from nursing standards and practices.
Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations are specific to this area of employment.
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is required, normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
Education requirements include an Associate's degree in nursing, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
