Travel RN – IMCU / Progressive Care (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: October 5, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care unit with a patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4
- Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, BiPAP, and trach vent support
- Assist with or support procedures including chest tube insertion
- Document patient care accurately using the Expanse EMR system
- Float to IMCU and Stroke department as needed
- Participate in expected weekend shift coverage (approximately 4 weekend shifts per contract period)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Texas (or Compact license)
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IMCU, Progressive Care, or ICU Step-Down
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and 3% Saline drip management
- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down environment
- Flexible, team-oriented, and positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
