Contract | Full-Time | Days | Weekend Rotation (Every Third Weekend)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, documenting all interventions accurately
- Assess, report, and respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a Telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor rhythms
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
