Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – TELE)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit with a strong focus on orthopedic and surgical patient populations
- Perform telemetry interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring
- Perform IV insertion and PICC line management
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health record system
- Float to other departments across facilities as needed based on departmental rotation schedules
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to start
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
- Demonstrated telemetry interpretation skills
- Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line care
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical-Surgical setting with orthopedic and/or surgical patient populations
- Familiarity with Meditech charting system
- Experience floating across multiple units or facilities
