Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – Tele)

Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Perform IV insertion and PICC line management as part of routine patient care
- Accurately document patient information and clinical findings using Meditech electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required to start
- Minimum of 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
- Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line care
- Experience with Meditech charting system
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care hospital telemetry unit
- Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
