Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – TELE)

Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 16-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Deliver nursing care on an isolation floor — candidates must be comfortable working within isolation protocols and procedures
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience
- Ability and willingness to work on an isolation unit
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an isolation or infectious disease unit
- Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting
