Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Telemetry (Tele)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36–48 hours/week | 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care in a PCU/step-down environment
- Manage cardiac drips and demonstrate familiarity with procedures such as TAVRs and Watchman/Mitraclip devices
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; perform patient tests and administer medications within RN scope of practice
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care
- Float between multiple facilities as required — this is a Float Pool position
- Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 and document care using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/Telemetry nursing experience
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must be willing and able to float between multiple facilities within the network
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience managing cardiac drips and caring for patients post-TAVR or Watchman/Mitraclip procedures
- Prior travel nursing or float pool experience
