Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry | Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Six weekend shifts per six-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Float between multiple facilities as part of a Float Pool assignment — must be willing to work across different departments and locations within the network
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN License (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
- ACLS Certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Must be willing and able to float between departments and multiple facilities within the network
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Familiarity with a 6:1 patient ratio environment
