Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a general Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings for assigned patients throughout each shift
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry
- Prior experience in a Telemetry or Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting
- Ability to commit to an 8-week contract with possibility of extension
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new clinical environments
- Experience with general Medical-Surgical patient populations
