Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit within a 266-bed acute-care hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or a compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in telemetry or a related clinical specialty
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring equipment and telemetry interpretation
- Experience in an acute-care hospital environment
