Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 33-bed Medical Oncology unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Conduct hourly rounding on day shift and every two hours after 9:00 PM to support patient experience standards
- Utilize electronic documentation via Meditech and communicate using iPhones with iMobile technology
- Monitor patients via remote telemetry and utilize electronic white boards for unit coordination
- Collaborate with CNAs, unit secretaries, Charge RN, Clinical Manager, and Director as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy - travelers are first to float
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Strong patient-first attitude and commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
- Availability to work every other weekend as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Specialty certification in Med-Surg, Palliative Care, or Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
- Prior experience in a Medical Oncology or Telemetry setting
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
- Experience working in an acute-care hospital environment
