    Job Title

    Travel RN – Telemetry (Night Shift)

    Location

    Tallahassee, FL | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend as needed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 33-bed Medical Oncology/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
    • Perform remote telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
    • Conduct hourly rounds on day shift and 2-hour rounds after 9:00 PM in accordance with patient experience standards
    • Collaborate with CNAs, unit secretaries, Charge RN, Clinical Manager, and Director to ensure safe, high-quality care
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy (travelers are first to float)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with telemetry or medical-surgical background
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Proficiency with remote telemetry monitoring and electronic documentation systems
    • Strong patient-first attitude and commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Specialty certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Palliative Care, or ONS (Oncology Nursing Society)
    • Experience with inpatient oncology or chemotherapy administration settings
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
    • Experience using iMobile/iPhone-based clinical communication tools
