    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving Medical Oncology and Medical-Surgical overflow patients with diagnoses including CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, and COPD
    • Titrate drips including comfort care medications (narcotics and benzodiazepines), Heparin, and Cardizem per unit protocols
    • Read and interpret telemetry strips in collaboration with monitor technicians
    • Manage patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5, with nurse aide support at a 1:9 ratio
    • Operate and monitor respiratory equipment including CPAP and BiPAP
    • Float to like departments as needed based on unit demands
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
    • Epic EMR experience is required
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience
    • Ability to fulfill standby requirements with a 1-hour response time
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bio/Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
    • Prior experience in a Telemetry or Medical Oncology setting
    • Familiarity with titratable drip management including comfort care, anticoagulation, and cardiac medications
