Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process on a 30-bed Telemetry unit
- Monitor and assess cardiac patients, incorporating specialized educational requirements and competencies related to telemetry care
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 while ensuring safe and effective care delivery
- Float as required to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Ability and willingness to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience
