    Key Responsibilities
    • Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
    • Reassess patients systematically to identify trends and changes in condition that require clinical intervention?
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care
    • Provide nursing care for post cardiac cath, post-surgical, and high-risk medication patients (including cardizem, heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, ketamine, and lidocaine drips) as well as respiratory patients on NIPPV (BiPAP, AirVo)
    • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
    • Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
    • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Current ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for telemetry patients in an acute care setting
    • Familiarity with NIPPV modalities including BiPAP and AirVo
    • Experience managing patients on high-risk drips and post-procedural cardiac or surgical care
