    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide nursing care for post cardiac cath, post-surgical, and high-risk medication patients including those on cardizem, heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, ketamine, and lidocaine drips
    • Care for respiratory patients on NIPPV modalities including BiPAP and AirVo
    • Obtain and document initial and ongoing patient assessments, identifying trends and priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with nursing standards
    • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and modify the plan of care accordingly
    • Participate in patient and family health education, discharge planning, and perform Point of Care testing procedures
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
    • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license
    • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior telemetry experience including management of patients on high-risk cardiac and vasoactive drip medications
    • Experience with NIPPV respiratory support modalities such as BiPAP and high-flow therapy
    • National professional nursing certification or advanced nursing education (BSN or MSN)
