Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit serving cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, GU, and GI patient populations
Interpret and monitor telemetry strips continuously throughout the shift
Administer and manage cardiac drips and high-flow oxygen therapy
Apply and manage TR bands as required by patient care needs
Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
Float to applicable units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
AHA-certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a single Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
Demonstrated ability to independently interpret telemetry strips
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience managing a diverse patient population including cardiac, respiratory, and behavioral health diagnoses
Familiarity with TR band management and high-flow oxygen protocols
