    Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry Float Pool

    Contract | Nights (1845–0715) | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a telemetry float pool setting, floating to med/surg and telemetry units as needed
    • Manage a patient assignment of 4:1–5:1 across a 38-bed unit, caring for patients with diagnoses including ETOH, DKA, heart failure, sepsis, stroke, and GI/GU surgical and joint replacement cases
    • Titrate drips including insulin, heparin, amiodarone, and cardizem per protocol
    • Read and interpret telemetry strips independently using GE monitoring equipment, in collaboration with monitor technicians
    • Operate and monitor respiratory support equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
    • Adhere to navy scrub dress code; complete unit-specific orientation (1 day per unit)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in California
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Current ACLS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in telemetry or step-down nursing
    • Demonstrated ability to titrate drips and read telemetry strips independently
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience floating across multiple units in a hospital setting
    • Familiarity with GE telemetry monitoring systems
    • Experience managing complex cardiac and medical-surgical patient populations
