Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Observation Unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status and response to treatment throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS as required
- Adhere to facility dress code and compliance standards at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience
- ACLS certification required (copy must be included with submission)
- BLS certification required (copy must be included with submission)
- NIHSS certification required (copy must be included with submission)
- COVID vaccination status required at time of submission
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Observation or Step-Down Unit setting
- Strong familiarity with telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring
- Experience working in a high-compliance, structured clinical environment
