Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry/cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with facility protocols
• Utilize knowledge of Critical Paths in patient care planning and coordination
• Float to like units and overflow areas as needed
• Pass a facility-administered Dysrhythmia and Medication competency exam (via Zoom) prior to assignment start - one attempt only, 85% passing score required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• Current AHA ACLS Certification required
• Must successfully pass the facility Telemetry Competency Exam prior to assignment (one attempt, 85% minimum passing score)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local travelers will not be accepted
