Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Telemetry (Tele)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care on the PCU/Telemetry unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Navy scrubs required
- Must live outside the local area — local candidates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a PCU or Telemetry setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
