Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:15 PM – 7:15 AM) | Rotating weekends and holidays | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg / Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
