Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:15 PM – 7:15 AM) | Rotating weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior telemetry monitoring experience and rhythm interpretation skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
